Willow Bend Farm
Willow Bend Farm is a progressive dairy farm located in the heart of Finger Lakes, New York. Family owned and operated since 1960, it has grown from 80 cows to a large operation with three farms — Willow Bend Farm, Spring Hope Dairy, and Bonna Terra Farm — and 4,800 dairy cows, 4,200 young stock, and 9,000 acres of cropland.
George and Mary Lue Mueller established the first of the three farms over 60 years ago in Clifton Springs, New York. In 2003, Spring Hope Dairy was purchased in Hopewell, New York. And finally, in 2016, the Muellers purchased Donna Terra Farm in Bloomfield, New York.
Today, they employ 85 people and are proud to be a second-generation, family-run dairy farm. They have remained committed to a progressive approach to farming and were one of the first farms in Ontario County to have a bunker silo.
Willow Bend Farm offers guided farm tours on all three properties based on age group. Tours include a wagon ride around the farm with stops at the maternity barn, milking center, and even a chance to interact with calves!
Willow Bend Farm proudly sells its milk to Upstate Niagara Milk Co-operative. This local Western New York milk co-op, owned by 350 local dairy farmers, is known for its high-quality dairy products and commitment to serving the community. You can find dairy products from Willow Bend Farm throughout New York in Wegmans and Tops grocery stores, sold under store brand labels. Their milk is also sold under their own "Upstate Farms" label, which you can find in most local convenience stores and Walmarts.
