Millbrook Beef and Dairy

Nestled in Hudson Valley, New York, Millbrook Beef and Dairy is a first-generation farm that was started by Brian and Keegan Donovan. The two first met while working on neighboring farms and are passionate about providing high-quality food to their community. Their pasture-based program raises beef and dairy cattle to provide their customers with ethically raised beef and dairy products.

Their unique approach to farming is seen in their commitment to their animals and the people they serve. They are committed to:

• No antibiotics

• No steroids

• No hormones

• Higher levels of vitamins and minerals

• Higher omega 3’s and omega 6’s

Their farm store sells Hudson Valley fresh products, pasture-raised proteins, and their own cheese line! Not only that, but Millbrook Beef and Dairy has partnered with McGrath Cheese Company. Essentially, McGrath Cheese Co. buys their milk, takes it to their creamery, and creates Millbrook their very own line of cheese as well as their own line of cheese that is sold across the Hudson Valley!

Not only does Millbrook have their own farm store, but they also have their own food truck that they like to call, “Ol Yeller.” Check out the Millbrook Farmers Market and pay “Ol Yeller” a visit for some of their products made fresh on the farm. 

The Donovans’ goal is to educate the public about agriculture and supporting local farms. They aim to get customers back in touch with agriculture and educate them on where their food comes from and why it’s important to shop and support local farms.
